Synopsis: A young and beautiful veterinarian, the only daughter of a modest shepherd, returns home to a remote village in Galicia to announce to her father that she is going to marry a prestigious neurologist. He wants to organize a meal the next day for everyone to get to know each other but the father, driven by equal parts jealousy and ignorance, confuses neurology with black magic and decides to prevent the wedding.
